{"id":114,"date":"2007-06-22T06:54:00","date_gmt":"2007-06-22T14:54:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.chicobandido.com\/blog\/?p=114"},"modified":"2007-06-22T06:54:00","modified_gmt":"2007-06-22T14:54:00","slug":"air-canada-fly-a-whole-new-way-petless","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.chicobandido.com\/blog\/2007\/06\/air-canada-fly-a-whole-new-way-petless\/","title":{"rendered":"Air Canada &#8211; fly a whole new way (petless)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Further to <a href=\"http:\/\/chicobandido.blogspot.com\/2007\/06\/guess-who-im-not-flying-with-any-more.html\" target=\"_blank\">my previous story about Air Canada<\/a>, here&#8217;s my letter to them.<\/p>\n<p>Interestingly, after I sent them the letter, I received an automated response stating that I should receive a detailed reply within 15 days (I think they actually said &#8220;business days&#8221;).<\/p>\n<p>Now that&#8217;s customer service!<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, here&#8217;s the letter.<br \/><span class=\"fullpost\"><\/p>\n<p>Dear Sir\/Madam:<\/p>\n<p>Please be advised that, as a long time customer of Air Canada (approximately 25 years) and one who has consistently chosen Air Canada over its competitors, I will no longer fly Air Canada for any trip, anywhere.  In fact, I will now be willing to pay for a more expensive flight on another airline in order to make sure I don&#8217;t fly Air Canada.<\/p>\n<p>As a pet owner, for me this is simply a matter of principle, regardless of whether my pet is coming with me on a particular trip.<\/p>\n<p>I refuse to support any organization that treats pet owners as second class citizens and that is exactly what you have done with this decision.<\/p>\n<p>Apparently, if I am to believe your advertisements, I can fly a whole new way on Air Canada &#8211; my way.
