According to Michael Vick\u2019s agent<\/a>, the NFL player has re-signed an endorsement contract with Nike, two years after they dropped him for his involvement in dog fighting.<\/p>\n

I will be contacting Nike to let them know that, not only will I no longer be buying any of their products, but I will be getting rid of all of my existing Nike apparel.<\/p>\n

There is a movement among dog owners across North America to boycott all of Nike\u2019s products.<\/p>\n

Do not allow the media and the NFL to gloss this over as a \u201cmistake\u201d for which Vick has served his time.  The things that Vick did were not \u201cmistakes\u201d.  They were deliberate, sadistic, and vicious acts, performed with forethought and intent.  It takes a special type of person to do those things and I, for one, believe that Vick has been \u201crehabilitated\u201d far too easily.<\/span><\/p>\n

This is about MONEY.  Nothing else.  Money for Vick.  Money for the Eagles.  Money for Nike.<\/span><\/p>\n

But who drives this?  The North American public, that\u2019s who.  Both the Eagles and Nike must have done massive market research to determine just how distasteful Vick\u2019s re-signing was going to be! Only when they were SURE that average Joe Public was not going to freak out on them would they have decided to move forward with Vick.<\/span><\/p>\n
