Dogs, politics, media, and more

And when the last scene of all comes, and death takes the master in its embrace, and his body is laid away in the cold ground,
no matter if all other friends pursue their way, there by his graveside will the noble dog be found, his head between his paws,
his eyes sad but open in alert watchfulness, faithful and true even to death. -- George Graham Vest

At least they’re saying “maybe”

Nackawic is a small New Brunswick town just west of Fredericton.  Already has breed specific legislation against “pit bull terriers”, Rottweilers, and any mixed-breed dogs of those types.

Town has just recently decided to crack down on this bylaw because of several complaints against a SINGLE pit bull in town.  So everyone else now has to suffer because of one jerk.

At least the town says they are listening to residents’ objections and that they will consider undoing the breed-specific portion.

I’m not holding my breath, but let’s see what happens.
